More Torque, Power, and Runtime
Included in the kit is the 2602-20 1/2-inch hammer drill/driver, which is able to drill 20 percent faster in concrete than the competition. It owes its robust performance to a four-pole motor that delivers 550 inch/pounds of peak torque and 29,000 BPM, and it features a variable-speed trigger that provides speed control between 0-1,700 RPM (high speed) and 0-450 RPM (low speed) and an all-metal 1/2-inch single-sleeve ratcheting chuck for bit retention. For added flexibility and long life, this hammer drill/driver has the only metal gear case in its class.

M18 Cordless Work Light provides a fold-away hook for hands free use. View larger.
This kit also comes with the 2620-20 Sawzall reciprocating saw. Ideal for creating vertical cuts, this powerful saw features a patented gear-protecting clutch for long life and optimal performance. A level action Quik-Lok blade clamp keeps your workpiece secure, while a variable-speed trigger ensures consistent, precise cuts. For added convenience, the saw's battery-power gauge clearly displays remaining runtime.

Able to make fast, clean horizontal cuts, the kit's 2630-20 circular saw boasts rough-and-tough magnesium guards for maximum durability and an electronic brake to quickly stop the blade. An aircraft aluminum shoe provides accuracy, while an ergonomic, compact, and lightweight design includes a soft-grip handle for all-day comfort and control.

Finally, the work light included in the kit illuminates your work space. Its compact, ergonomic design combines with a 135-degree rotating head for easy adjustments, while a fold-away utility hook enables both hands-free use and space-saving storage.

Reliable, long-lasting LITHIUM-ION power is just one part of a full feature set.
M18 Lithium-Ion Power: Compact, Lightweight, and Dependable
Cordless power frees you from the hassle of extension cords, but a cordless tool is only as reliable as its battery--that's where Milwaukee's M18 XC high-capacity lithium-ion batteries come in. Engineered to deliver torque, speed, and extended runtime, these batteries make use of Milwaukee's trademarked Digital Power Management technology to ensure long battery life. Additionally, overload protection, a temperature management system, and individual cell voltage monitoring guard your battery and your tools during tough jobs.

A convenient power gauge on each battery displays remaining runtime, and a second battery is included with the kit, so you never have to worry about running out of power in the middle of a task. Plus the M18 lithium-ion battery charger is designed to recharge batteries in one hour or less.

Since lithium-ion batteries are significantly smaller and lighter than 18-volt NiCad batteries, they play an integral role in keeping Milwaukee's M18 tools ergonomic and comfortable to use. For added versatility, M18 tools also work with even lighter M18 compact lithium-ion batteries (not included).

M18 Series Tools: Innovative, Powerful, and Easy to Handle
Launched in 2008, the M18 series from Milwaukee balances power and ergonomics. M18 tools pack the best-in-class, heavy-duty performance that you expect from Milwaukee into lighter, more compact bodies than those of traditional tools. This translates to improved versatility on the jobsite and reduced user fatigue at the end of the workday.

Review by Jon Anderson "Jonny Boy" : Great Combo Kit 5 Star

Great Combo Kit for the money. Milwaukee makes quality tool. Haven't had any issues with the charging or batteries. Even the light is fairly useful. Hammer Drill is great with plenty of power. Used it to drill through cinder block when installing a surface mount outlet in my basement. I paid 450.00 at one of the chain home center stores, so 399.99 is a good deal.

Review by Sir Coogs A Lot : A must have for contractors and serious handymen/women 5 Star

If you ask most contractors they will tell you they are either team Milwaukee or team Dewalt. Both make great professional power tools but it mostly comes down to personal preference. I guess it's a choice like Nikon versus Canon, PC versus Mac, Coke versus Pepsi - it's pointless to debate so I will focus more on Milwaukee says that is what I have used. I will also mention that there are many other cheaper power tools that will probably get the job done but I can promise you they won't do it as well as the two I just mentioned. There is a very good reason why these power tools, the premium price and all it takes is for you to try them and I have tried most. In the last 6 years, we have owned three combo packs +2 drills (the older nickel cadmium). After 10 years, we still have the three combo packs and one drill and the only reason why we're missing that drill is because some lowlife stole it from the job site; otherwise, these tools are made to last and take a beating. Of course after 10 years, the flashlights look like hell, the drills are scratched up, and the saws are dirty but this still work my only complaint is that the NiCad batteries in the older series would not last very long and would lose power as you use them. In fact if it were not for the batteries and us being sick of replacing them so often we probably would hold off purchasing new tools. Enter lithium-ion batteries. We just purchased three of his combo packs locally and right away we noticed a power indicator on the battery. For anybody who is serious about tools this is a very useful feature. It means that we don't overcharge the batteries and it means that it takes the guesswork out of the equation. That drill itself is a little smaller looking than the old version but it is still very solid and made of metal. The flashlights - also a very useful tool follows the trend of looking better as well. I still remember having the original flashlight and it was not very pretty to look at and, the pain but they seem to improve this with every upgrade. Of course,I have not own the tools long enough to see whether they will also last 6 years of heavy use, but so far so good and from what I know of Nick Young Ion technology I have a lot more faith in these batteries than the older version. I also am aware that there is the 20th will version which cost considerably more, but for my needs 18 V has come through and is a good balance between affordable and tough professional tools. To conclude, if you are a contractor - electrical, plumbing, Carpenter, handyman, etc. you can't go wrong with these tools and if you can afford it, get it. If you're the type of person who buys tools and lets them sit on the grudge shelf only to bring it out once or twice a year to drill through sheet rock or screw in a few boards here or there then you might want to save your money and buy one of the consumer grade tools. Not everybody needs professional grade tools. If you guys check out some other postings you will find that I am an avid photographer and for meeting that field at mid range or semipro camera is more than good enough and I don't need to go out and buy a $6000 professional camera with a $5000 lens the way a professional football photographer might. Same thing applies here. If however you make your living with the help of your tools, you can't afford to fail, and you can't afford to be without them so get the best.

Review by Will Plotner Jr. : Amazon saved the day 4 Star

I initally bought two set of tools and gave one set to my dad for Christmas. Upon setting up he had the bolt that sets the circular saw blade break off in the saw. I contacted Amazon and would you believe had set to me within 3 working days. They gave me 30 days to get the broken one back, but got us a new set that fast. WOW! They also provided a packing label for UPS or FEDEX (I can't remember) so we didn't have to pay chipping for the new set or the broken set to get back to AMAZON. This is a credit to both the retainer (Amazon) and I assume the manufacturer for staning behind their product. I'm a true believer and very satisfied with the tools since this little incident.

Review by Rob G "MinisterofIron" : DON'T BE SKEPTICAL... 5 Star

...Like I was. When I got tired of my Ridgid cordless hammer drill always being dead, I bought this set from TEAM TOOLS and got it for 50.00 more than I paid for the Ridgid drill alone(paid 350.00 for the Milwaukee set). The drill is light and compact compared to other drills, but has all the power you'll ever need. The hammer setting drills through concrete better than I expected. This is a nice drill and it has outstanding power. The light is a cool add-on, and you may become dependent on it after you use it. The balance is also right on, and it fits nicely into my Milwaukee toolbelt I purchased from Amazon due to it's compact size. I took the saw out of the box, picked up an old, dried out treated 2x4 and ripped it down. There was no stalling, and it maintained a nice steady speed with no binding. I then took this saw, using the same battery I just used, to rip the 2x4 (twice) an then made a 25' pass across textured plywood siding on a garage. It was still going strong. I then took the same saw and cut several plumb cuts on soffits, 12 total. Yep, still going strong and the fuel gauge still has 3 bars. By the way, the "fuel gauge" option is very nice to have. I am also impressed with the sawzall. I have an electric sawzall (Milwaukee)and am not sure if I will ever need it again. This cordless version makes up for having no orbital action yet produces higher rpms than the electric model. This saw rocks just as the circular saw does. These are impressive cordless tools and that is no exaggeration. By the way, the sawzall also has the quick change blade system. No more hex keys. Thankfully. I have not yet tried the flashlight so I cannot comment on this as of right now, although after reading other reviewers complain about the type of bulb it uses, I am certain it is still adequate as a light source when needed. I can't believe these cordless tools perform this well. I was in the trades when cordless tools first came out and they were nothing more at that point than a novelty item, other than a few drills. Milwaukee is, and has always been a great tool choice. I've owned several prior to this purchase, and they have lasted for years. Buy this set, you won't have any regrets.

Review by O. Jones : So far they are great 5 Star

I bought this set to use on a new house with a lot of projects. So far each tool has worked as expected and I've gotten very good battery life. The circular saw seems to spin slow (may just be my perception), but has had no problems cutting 2x4s and plywood.
