I purchased this lock to secure a trail camera I use for scouting hunting areas. Works great for securing the camera to different sized trees and is much easier to use and carry than a chain and padlock.

THIS CABLE WORKS GREAT AND IS SO EASY TO USE!!!!! It will fit around most trees and then adjust down to the correct size and quickly lock your game camera in place at whatever height that you choose. Well worth the money and easy to use. I would highly recommend it.

These python locks are perfect for securing ladders, tree stands, generators or whatever quick and easy. Any pro. thief will still succeed but these are as good as it gets.

Good Lock, but sold as a package deal to go with Wildgame Innovations Digital Game Scouting Camera X6CG. It does not work with this Camera at all. We will keep and use for something else. Just thought poeple should know....do not buy thinking you are going to lock your camera with this!

Works great for securing trail cameras to trees. If you pull the cable tight when you lock it, you need to pull like you are trying to tighten it some more when you are unlocking it. A tight cable is hard to unlock unless you relieve the tension in the locking mechanism by pulling the loose end of the cable sticking out the nose of the python's head.

I love this lock! I wouldnt use it to secure a nuclear facility or anything, but it is great for a game camera or hunting stand! If someone wants to steal something in the middle of the woods, no lock is able to stop them. I could break this lock if I needed to. It makes the lazy thieves think twice. The cable was to thick for my Bushnell Trophy Cam, so I used it to lock my lock-on hunting stand. Buy 10 of these things because you will use them!!
